If you have particularly dry skin, then you should try to keep it as moisturized as possible. You can do this by drinking lots of water and eating fruits. You can also avoid skin dryness by using a wrinkle free or an anti-aging cream.

Luckily for all of us, wrinkles can be avoided, but only if you take good care of your skin. You can do this by using certain very effective home remedies to get rid of your wrinkled and aging skin. These remedies use natural products that do not lead to any reactions or skin irritations. Most home remedies use fruits. Read on for a few very useful home remedies:

• Using honey


Honey has many benefits including getting rid of wrinkles. The best thing about honey is that is very simple to use. All you have to do is wash your face and then apply honey on it and leave for half an hour, after that again wash your face with mildly warm water. Doing this regularly should help you get rid of your wrinkles.  You can purchase honey from departmental or any pharmaceutical store.

• Bananas


Take one or two bananas and mash them completely until a soft creamy stuff appears, then apply it on your face and leave for a few minutes, after that, wash your face with mild warm water.

• Cucumber


Cucumbers are famous for making your face look fresher. They can actually help prevent wrinkles from appearing. For effective results, cut pieces of cucumber and wipe your face with cucumber slices.

• Tomatoes


Tomatoes can also be used to help you get rid of wrinkles and aging signs. Cut tomatoes into small pieces, mix with honey and apply on your face. You should do this regularly, in order to achieve best results.

• Pineapple


Another fruit best known for getting rid of wrinkled skin is pineapple. Use pineapple pulp and apply it on your face, leave it for less than half an hour and then wash with mildly warm water. Since pineapple contains vitamin C, it is effective for getting rid of wrinkles.

• Lemon and Olive Oil


Lemon is used to make the skin more glowing and fresh because of its richness in vitamin C, which is used in many anti-aging creams. Olive oil is best for moisturizing the skin.
Alternate to using wrinkle cream

If you do not want to use a wrinkle free cream for some reason and still wish to get rid of your wrinkled skin. Here’s an alternative for you.

An alternate treatment to using wrinkle creams can be a plastic surgery or Botox injections.  These alternates are expensive and intensive. For this, you would need to consult a dermatologist and find a great plastic surgeon. Remember, the recovery time will also be quite painful.

Over the Counter Products (OTC)


These products are a much less invasive way to handle wrinkles. The only problem with over the counter products is that they do not always work; only some of them can prove to be effective. When you go to buy an OTC, you must always ask for a product that contains retinol, moisturizers, vitamins, collagen and peptides. All these elements help to keep your skin younger. You can get different over the counter products for your eyes and day and night use.
